A Shower Thought about Calculus
This year, I and millions of other people have learned calculus. A few of us just love limits and integrals and that thing with u and dv, but most don't. Most of us are people who want a STEM career, and it just so happens that you need calculus for science, technology, and engineering.
But this wasn't the case when calculus was discovered. Nobody forced Newton and Leibniz to discover calculus, they were nerds who did it for the love of the game.
